Sweet Summertime
Our first trip as a family to North Carolina to meet some of our Fitch family.
Blair's Baby Shower
Our Hilton Head Trip in July
We were all facinated by the turtles that would practically eat out of your hand.. right at our back doorstep, until.......
....we discovered that alligators also liked to come on the bank for a snack!
The 4th of July festivities and fireworks at Shelter Cove! They are simply ah-maz-ing!
My good friend Darcey joined us at the beach this year. She was a tremendous help to us with the babies and we enjoyed having her there so much!!!
Mommy had several adults on alligator watch during these pics!
It took Carly and Boone a couple of days to warm up to the beach. Lucas, on the other hand, loved it from the minute we touched the sand!
Growing So Fast!
Before I update with pictures, I thought I'd share a little about our three darlings...
Lucas will be 3 years old this month! I can't believe what a big boy he is becoming. He is so smart. We are amazed (and sometimes surprised.. lol) at the things that come out of his mouth. We had a server ask us just the other day when he turned 4.... She was shocked when I told her he was only 2! His favorite thing to do is play outside. He would live outside if we'd let him. He also LOVES to sing and dance and watch AUBURN football, of course! He loves to eat... chicken nuggets and macaroni & cheese.. what else! His favorite things to watch are Barney, Dora, and Sesame Street. He is very affectionate.. loves hugs and kisses. He usually ends each day wanting to "snuggle" on the couch with his Mommy. :o)
The twins turned 1 on October 25th. We had a small family party to celebrate. I do not have a clue where the last year has gone! They are drinking whole milk now and eating more and more from the "table." They love to "love" on each other, but they also can be pretty rough with each other, too. Whatever one has, the other wants! We have had to separate many spats... lol.
Boone is a Mommy's boy through and through. He loves to mimic his older brother. It appears as if he honestly believes that he is as big as Lucas... He will dive on top of Lucas to wrestle... Lucas is usually the one walking away shaking his head.. lol. My Booney-Wooney has overcome his reflux and is doing much, much better with his texture intolerance. He is taking about 2 steps at a time, although he has taken as many as 7 at one time. He is working on cutting his 5th tooth (teething is so hard on him). His favorite thing to do is drive his cozy coupe car. His favorite food is yogurt and the kid will sit like a statue if Barney is on tv. :o)
Carly is my little princess. She loves to play with her girly toys and pretend to put on make-up with Mommy. She is also my talker! She is vocal about everything... you never have to guess her mood! :o) She is taking about 10 steps at a time.. She is really about to take off! She has just cut her 8th tooth. She is a great eater.. David and I joke that she could probably finish off a steak faster than either of us. She loves to eat! Her favorite things to eat are any kind of bread, cheese and grits! Her favorite thing to do is take toys from her brother! haha No, really... she loves snuggling up with her baby dolls and pretending to talk on the telephone. Her favorite thing to watch is also Barney (even though it is quite annoying to Mommy and Daddy). :o)

Life Happens!
Wow! I have missed blogging so much. We have just been so busy around here that I had to let a few things go.... sadly, blogging was one of them. Things still haven't slowed down any at all, but I feel like we are managing... and I want to try to catch up on here!
So much has happened since my last post! Vacation... Summertime... Baby Paisley's Arrival... Halloween... birthdays... the list could go on and on. I am going to do my best to summarize in pictures over the next few days (gotta love a slooow internet connection).
I hope you all enjoy!
