All I Want For Christmas...

...is Lucas' TWO bottom teeth! The first one (finally) broke through last weekend and the one beside it, broke through Tuesday night. Yippee! I am having a super hard time getting a picture of them... Lucas is just not cooperating! :o) But, as soon as I'm able to snap one, I will post it! In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these photos from Nana's birthday this week. The high chair that you see is a family heirloom... it was used by my Mama and me... and now a third generation! Love it!

SURPRISE!

Wow! I must be doing something right! (hehe!) First of all, I LOVE getting flowers... fresh flowers in the house just make me smile. I don't get them as often as I would like and I occasionally remind David of this... in a joking manner of course. :o) So, I was absolutely delighted when he picked me some hydrangea blossoms from our bush on his way in from work Monday evening. So sweet! But, I was even more SURPRISED when the doorbell rang yesterday.... a beautiful Sunflower arrangement (by Jane Rogers, my favorite florist) delivered to the front door! I just knew there was some mistake... did they deliver them to the wrong address by mistake? I rushed inside to open the card... it read... "Just because you bring sunshine into our lives" Love, David and Lucas......... Oh, my goodness... I think I have the sweetest hubby in the entire world!

Honey- Do(s)

Take a look at what my sweet(!!!) hubby, David, has been up to... He replaced our counter top microwave with one that fits above our stove, put a flat screen television where the microwave used to be, and is almost done completely reshelving our pantry (more than doubling my shelf space). He is so handy! I am so thankful that he knows all about the wiring and hardware "stuff," because I surely don't know much about it! I hope that Lucas will inherit his daddy's engineering mind as he gets older. Meanwhile, we are LOVING the "renovations" and using them daily!... now, what's next on the honey-do list?... (lol)..... spending time with us, that's what!

Please forgive the quality of the pics... I couldn't get the lighting right no matter what I tried...

Playing

Snuggle Bear

Watching TV

After Bathtime
Lucas and I are having so much fun at home together. We play and laugh so hard! I absolutely can't believe that the summer is already more than half over for me. The school year is just around the corner and my sweet morning time sugars and after lunch snuggles are almost over... it makes me so sad! I think it will be even harder to start back to school this time than it was after maternity leave!

Buddha Belly... haha

Lucas had a very full belly one night after supper (with much of it still on his face, I might add) and I thought his shirt said it all... "Rub My Belly For Luck!"
