At first, Lucas wasn't sure he even wanted to stand on the white stuff... but after a little coaxing he was walking around. He still wasn't sure about touching it and he definitely didn't like it when he fell in it, but overall he must've had fun.... he pointed to the door all day wanting to go back outside. :o)

Miracle Update
Since my last post, we've had a little "excitement." In her own words, Mrs. Brenda "pulled a 'Kay.'" Yesterday evening, after a big cough, Mrs. Brenda felt wetness... it was blood. She had actually ruptured a suture that was connecting her new kidney. Luckily Dr. Welcher was already on the floor and took her immediately back into surgery. He said that she would be fine and he stitched the heck out of the vessel this time. She was put in the ICU overnight just as a precaution, but has already made it back to the transplant floor this morning and is full of wit and spunk. We are so thankful to each and every person that has had her in their prayers.. we know God has had his healing hands of protection over her.

Miracles Surround Us
Mrs. Brenda's and Jane's surgeries went wonderfully this morning! God is so good! Dr. Whelchel gave Mrs. Brenda a glowing report and said the new kidney was already working just great! Jane's doctor, Dr. Tan, also spoke very upbeat about the procedure. We are anticipating smooth recoveries for both with the possibility of going home by early next week... AMAZING!
