We went for our follow-up ultrasound today and within seconds we could see TWO BABIES!!! They look great! We saw and heard both of their perfect little heartbeats. The next 4 weeks are especially crucial (until the end of the first trimester) so please keep all of us in your prayers. David and I are indescribably excited!!!!

Seeing Double?
We had originally chosen to keep the news private, but after only a few days.. I admit I spilled the beans! I just couldn't keep it in any longer... it just slipped out in a weak moment. :o) Dr. Miller is not 100% sure if we are pregnant with one baby or two. During our ultrasound last Monday, he kept "finding" a second amniotic sac, but it appeared to be empty.. no sign of a baby, no heartbeat. He seemed to think that the ultrasound equipment could have been showing us kind of a mirror image. But, as he kept going back to the spot, it kept appearing... so he couldn't rule out the possiblity of twins with one being still too small to "see." We will have a repeat ultrasound on Friday afternoon that should give us a definite answer. We are excited either way.. we just want a healthy baby/ babies?!

Anniversary Trip
In celebration of our 3rd wedding anniversary, David and I took a trip down to Orange Beach for two nights this week. We stayed at the same hotel where we got married. This picture was taken in the exact spot where we exchanged our vows! I missed my little man like crazy (he stayed home with his Nana and Big), but we sure did enjoy the "lazy" time! We ate at our favorite restaurants, layed on the beach and got sunburnt, stayed up late playing putt-putt and eating ice cream (sugar free of course!).... it was wonderful to have that time to reconnect and hit the "refresh" button! Thanks Nana and Big!!!
